Danish Remington Model 1867 Rolling Block Rifle, manufactured by Kjobenhavns Toihuus, serial # 64186, cal. 11.7x51R Danish, 35 3/8" barrel with a very good bore and strong rifling, has nice Danish crown proof and inspection stamps on both metal and wood surfaces, metal surfaces of this 1883 manufactured rolling block are in-the-white and now beginning to acquire a subdued patina most prominently on the barrel, the Danish Royal Cipher of King Christian IX is stamped on the left side of the receiver in the form of a crown over an "R", the European hardwood stock which is numbered to the gun rates very good and shows just a few impact marks with a chip just forward of the trigger guard assembly and only mentioned for an honest description, rifle has a standard front sight and flip-up rear ladder sight, also has a right side barrel mounted bayonet lug, front and rear sling swivels, cleaning rod is missing, overall condition is good plus plus.
