Description:
Winchester Model 70 Carbine in a very desirable 7x57mm. Manufactured in 1948. Has a number of upgrades by Griffin and Howe to include a two lever quick detatchable scope mount that has an Lyman Alaskan 2 1/2x scope with post reticle. Griffin and Howe two leaf folding rear sight and ramp front sight. the stock has been upgraded with boarderless checkering. the rifle with scope weighs 8 pounds and 13.8 ounces. A classic model 70 in a caliber that is hard to find. Excellent condition. You will not find another at this price. C/R qualified.
