MARLIN MODEL 1881 RIFLE .40 caliber, 28" full octagon barrel and full magazine showing blue mixing with a pleasing brown. The frame retains original finish turn mostly and even brown patina. Very nice wood and varnish. Nice sharp bore. Mechanically excellent.
