SOLD... A pretty decent antique Remington O/U Derringer with excellent old stag grips and excellent tight hinges. In .41 RF caliber. S/N 722 and matching of course. Here is a pretty decent antique Remington O/U Derringer. The hinges are tight as new with NO cracks and never been repaired. This little Derringer has excellent mechanics and locks up tight as a new gun. Rock solid barrel to frame fit with no looseness. Firing pin rotates from top to bottom as suppose to. Has very old as the gun original real stag grips that are nice and thick with NO cracks or chips and a perfect fit to the gun. Very seldom see stag grips on these guns. Hammer notches are perfect and positive. Excellent type 3 barrel address. The finish was a blue gun but none of the blueing remains. The over all metal is a medium gray color that has been lightly cleaned long ago. Shows some very minor and very light pin prick salt a pepper roughness that is barely into the metal as you can see in the photos. It is smooth to the touch. Nothing bad and no deep pitting or anything detracting. The bores show rifling but are pitted as usual on these no finish guns and even some of the higher finished ones. This little pocket gun just shows normal use from being carried daily and shows no abuse. The stag grips are excellent as are the mechanics and hinges. Not a bad gun at all and about as cheap as these get that do not have the dreaded cracked hinge problems you normally see on this model even on high condition ones..
