This is a gorgeous rare one of a kind - top of the line Winchester Deluxe 1885 Schutzen style factory custom Hi-Wall single shot. It is in the desirable accurate classic 38-55 and is loaded with goodies. It has been professionally restored so well that it is hard to distinguish from the original finish. The unretouched pictures tell the story. It has set trigger and a tang sight. The special order pistol grip perch belly stock 3X fancy checkered walnut stock also has a nickeled Swiss butt plate. The barrel is a # 3 extra heavy. and the markings are all crisp and sharp as are all the metal edges. The action is as crisp and snug as the day it was made! It is not a total Schutzen as the lever is standard and there is no palm rest - but ALL the features DO letter. An original finish model so equipped and in such beautiful condition would command 12-15 thousand dollars today. Just ask Winchester legend Leroy Merz.
