Springfield Garand M1, Caliber .30 - 06, Serial Number 2902XX, (CMP), Inv 5295.
Another real beauty. The beautiful soft green gray Parkerizing rates at least 99%. Shows no wear, maybe just the slights sharp silvering. All parts are correct SA. The chamber throat erosion is a 2 and the muzzle a 1. Frankly it doesn't get much better than that. The barrel is stamped SA 11/43. The bore is bright and shiny with very crisp rifling it appears to have seen almost no use. The lovely tiger striped stock has only one small ding. The handguards are a dark matching walnut. This is definitely a head turner for the range. It comes complete with all the original CMP documentation and original plastic carrying case. $1295.
