Ed Brown 1911 Executive Elite Centennial Edition chambered in .45 acp. In 2011 Ed Brown built these special pistols to celebrate the 100th anniversary of one on the most iconic hand gun to ever be built. This pistol is in like new condition and comes with 2 mags plus its factory soft case. FEATURES: - 5" Government model slide, single stack government model frame. The John Browning traditional design for the ultimate in reliability and accuracy. - Weight: approximately 38 ounces with an unloaded magazine inserted. - Exclusive 25 LPI checkering on the forestrap and mainspring housing. - Matte finished slide for low glare, with traditional "square cut" serrations on rear of slide only. Blue frame and blue slide. These limited editions – made only one year – hold special serial numbers prefixed with “JMB” to honor John Moses Browning. In addition, the Centennial edition includes the following upgrades: - “Centennial edition, 1911-2011” is laser engraved on the left side of the slide. “Custom by Ed Brown” remains on the right side of the slide. - Tru-Ivory grips instead of wood grips. - Solid trigger instead of 3-hole trigger. - Plain black sights instead of night sights. - Jeweled barrel hood.
