Description:
An interesting engraved pin fire of about 44 cal. with 6 14" long round barrel with a rifled bore. The gun locks up good on DA and the trigger pull locks the hammer back and second pull releases the hammer,also the SA works good too. The French walnut hand checkered grips have smooth wear but are good for the age, with added finish.The finish is grey metal with some patches of age staining and wear from being carried.Would clean up better with bronze wool and oil so see the heavily engraved designs! These pin fire revolvers saw hard use in the Civil War. Has a lanyard loop attached to the butt, but is missing the ring. Don't see any ,markings or name on the gun. This is a quality made French or Belgium pin fire of the mid 19th century. We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
