Pre-War Winchester Model 62-A Rifle - Cal. .22 S-L-LR - 23" Bbl.- SN123XXX (1941). Perfect bore and action, action - Excellent metal with no rust, pits, or corrosion and with sharp markings. Retains 99% blue overall with only very slight indication of wear on the bottom of the receiver and some barely noticeable light spotting.. Original sights. Wood is excellent, undamaged and has 99% original finish with only a few light surface marks from normal handling. Composition buttplate is undamaged with sharp checkering and logo. This early 62-A has the checkered hammer and the upper tang is factory drilled for a tang sight - all original and unaltered and in near mint condition. A super Pre-War 62-A that will make a super shooter and collectible
