I don't have the original grips for the beauty, but it is still a very desirable Smith & Wesson with the hard to find five inch barrel. Several gunwriters, Skeeter Skelton amoung them promoted the 5" barrel as the ideal barrel length. Due to Skeeter championing the 5" barrel length, there is a lot of awareness in the shooting community of its superb handling qualities. This one shows a few "freckles" in the blueing above the trigger on the right side, still an excellent S&W M27, 357 Magnum. Very tight with excellent timing and bore.
