Description:
Anti-Hitler Election Poster, framed dimension 17 1/4 X 23 1/2 inches. Poster dimensions about 12 1/4 X 17 3/4 inches. Picture lower left: name/address of person or group who ordered the poster. Lower right: Name and address of publisher of the poster. Needless to say, after Hitler came into power in 1932, he ruthlessly sought out and killed or imprisoned all the dissenters who could be rounded up, and destroyed all the publications he could locate. Almost none of this poster or any others have survived. Condition: no tears, some water spots and fold marks, shown in pictures.
The title, "Was braucht das Handwerk???," translates, "What does the craft?", showing Hitler as a sandman throwing sand into the eyes of potential voters. Better yet, the message transliterates that Hitler is telling lies and trying to dazzle the public with bull____.
