Description:
Serial #481595, 7.5mm Swiss, 30 1/2” barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of mild freckling within the grooves. This rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, barrel, bolt, and magazine with the metal retaining 85-90% of the original blue finish that has silvered at the muzzle and scattered spots of fading and mild freckling as well. The bolt has a dark gray patina mixing with spots of plum-brown freckling, and the red-brown resin handle is intact. The wooden stock and handguard have an armory added finish over numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes but the markings are still crisp and clear on the comb. The magazine matches the condition of the rifle perfectly. This is a very good-near fine example of a World War I era Schmidt-Rubin and would make a great addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
