Description:
Bull-Dog .44 cal, Very solid and well built Bulldog pistol made by someone in Belgium. Its Belgian proofed on the cylinder.and some other places. The number 53 is stamped in many places and parts. The grips are walnut and in excellent condition with no chips . The screws are in great shape and metal is smooth and in very good condition. The cylinder is clean inside but the bore is a little pitted, lands and grooves are pitted a little , About average bore for a gun its age. It functions well in single and double action and the half cock notch is fine. The words British Bulldog is on the top strap. No other words are on the gun.There is a logo of some sort on the upper left frame in front of the cyl that is hard to decipher. looks like 2 crossed pistols a ampersand on top a f on the left a c on the right a btls on the bottom?? The cyl pin and ejector rod are fine The loading gate works fine.. The nickel finish is in great condition. Original ? looks to be, very hard to tell. A good looking and very solid well built pistol in .44 bulldog calibre. .44 Webley fits also. Call with any questions , Tom 612 859 5673
