Description:
Swiss Target Pistol Shooting Medal, dated 1967. Enamel and silver-colored metal medallion depicts a Luger pistol. Top of ribbon "Auszeichnung" translates to Award. The shooting event, "Mittefastenschiessen," is the equivalent of American Timed Fire category. Back of Medallion is stamped with the maker of the medal, Louis Meyer, Zurich. Length = 6 inches. A very desirable piece of Luger, international shooting memorabilia.
