New oil finish on lovely wood. I especially like the feel of the semi pistol grip. Builtin 1900 This gun has exquisite engraving with the best craftsmanship. The gun is in its original makers case (worn but restorable) with a really super neat label. In pencil on the label are the words " "Von Lengerke & Detmold which was a prominent New York importer of the period later to become the present Griffin & Howe whom have their records.
