Description:
This is a rare and collectable percussion revolver. Marked Colt's Patent 820 serial number 95. It was sold by Leonard Frank Allen who started Replica Arms, El Paso, TX in 1962. It was made by Armi San Marco.
This little Pocket Dragoon Is in excellent condition. and appears unfired.
It has Italian proof marks. On the right side of the barrel it is marked
"Replica Arms Co El Paso Tx" and on the left side "made in Italy"
It does not say black powder only but does have the serial number 95.
This gun is a 5-shot revolver that is chambered in .31 caliber. The gun sports a 5 3/4" octagon barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel and cylinder are blued. Bluing is 95% or better. The cylinder is engraved with an Indian fight scene. The frame, hammer, trigger and loading lever are case hardened. The case is very good with nice color on the frame. The square back trigger guard and backstrap are brass. The action is perfect. There is tracking around the cylinder but overall the appearance of the gun is very good plus.
