This is one fine looking gun! Model 1863 Sharps with matching serial numbers of 96612, late 1863 production! Smooth metal surfaces, no pitting. Action opens and closes smoothly with no slop. Has iron patchbox in butt stock, wood in great condition with one minor sliver at the tang. Some pitting in bore ahead of the chamber, otherwwise bore is clean and smooth, with sharp riflingplete and fully functional pellet primer! This is in original percussion.Remnants of cartouches visible.
