We are offering for sale an antique THOMAS BOSS double barrel percussion shotgun chambered in 16 guage. This is from the famous London maker, dating to the mid to late 1800’s. VERY LOW SERIAL #118. This gun appears to be original.
26 ½” Damascus barrels are very good with a nice patina. Both bores are very good with little to no surface wear. They appear to be very clean for the age of this firearm. Exposed hammers are very good; Left hammer appears to be missing the shield part that covers the nipple. Nipples are present and look to be original. ENGRAVED METAL PARTS including side plates, guards, buttplate and fore-end hardware. All metal is nice with a beautiful patina. Original stock is in good condition with one repair on the heel of the shoulder stock. Sterling Silver inlay on tang. There is some overall light handling wear. This appears to be the original ramrod but I am not 100% sure.
