EARLY DWM LUGER 9MM P-08 MILITARY FIRST ISSUE PISTOL CIRCA 1908-9. All original and matching in the 7,xxx/a range except the magazine. Has the early un-slotted backstrap and no chamber date. Early Imperial German pre WW1 proofs and has the hold open proof on the right side of frame. Imperial German 109th Infantry Regiment proofs (109.R.2.2) stamped on the front grip strap. 80-90% blue and traces of straw finish. Excellent original grips with nice checkering showing modest use. Excellent markings. Fine bore and perfect working order. Very early production and seldom seen for sale.
