MOROCCAN SNAPHAUNCE TAOUZILT GUN FROM THE SOUS VALLEY CIRCA LATE 1700’S. 58” o/a with 43” octagon to round .60 cal. smoothbore barrel. Iron mounts with stock having old brass tack decoration. Butt with bone inlaid panel. Has see heavy use but is quite colorful. Still has all the original lock parts but no longer works. Lock probably dates to the mid 1700’s. Type known as a “Taouzilt” and is from the Ras el Oued in the Sous Valley of Morocco.
