SUPERB COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL 1911 COMMERCIAL .45 ACP CAL. SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL CIRCA 1919 WITH FACTORY LTTR TO PORTLAND, ME. Commercial Model with the desirable early style slide markings and in 100% original condition in every respect. Early Commercial bright blue safety, trigger and slide release. Early Commercial walnut grips with diamond checkering. 98% plus original blue. Even the grip screw have most of the blue. Shows only the slightest patination on the grip straps. Superb grips with mint checkering and all the original finish. Perfect working order and excellent bore. Original early magazine with case hardened top. With Colt Factory letter stating it was shipped to Edwards & Walker Co. in Portland Maine Dec. 15th 1919.
