HIGH GRADE SIMSON & CO. SUHL EJECTOR 16 GA. DOUBLEGUN CIRCA 1920’S. Ornately engraved scalloped boxlock action with cocking indicators and side clips. Automatic ejectors and single trigger. 26” barrels choked improved cylinder and improved cylinder with 2 ¾” chambers. Barrels signed “SIMSON & CO. SUHL”. Rib engraved in a cartouche “MADE FOR IVER JOHNSON SPORTING GOODS CO.”.Fancy checkered walnut stock(14 ½” over pad). Extra long(9”) checkered forend. Horn pistol grip cap and forend tip. Exceptional condition with 90% case colors and 99% blue. Stock excellent with the comb expertly elevated and a pad added in the post War period. Mint bores and in perfect working order.
