+This is a rare COLT CLOVERLEAF revolver with a 4 shot cylinder and a 3" round barrel. The bore is good with sharp rifling. The action is strong and works perfectly. The walnut grips are excellent with 90%+ varnish remaining and only minor handling marks-no chips or bad scratches. All metal is nickel plated with about 90% remaining. The frame in front of the cylinder has some nicks and scratches. The low serial number of "793" is found on the butt.The barrel is marked "Colt's House Pistol-Hartford Ct. U.S.A." The trigger is of the Spur or Suicide type. Only 9952 of these were manufactured between 1871 and 1876. This one was made in 1871, the first year of production.
