Overall good condition. M44 was developed as a shorter urban version of the iconic 91/30. Shorter barrel and folding bayonet. Bolt, butt plate and magazine all matching numbers. has cleaning rod and comes with oiler and cleaning/tool kit. Metal retains about 80% of original bluing with no rust or pitting. Wood is good with no cracks or splits, has a few scratches and hanlding marks. Bore is bright with good rifling. Shipping is 35 to lower 48. Shoots the inexpensive and plentiful 762x54R round.
