Underwood M1 Carbine, Caliber .30, Serial Number 24631XX.
The Underwood marked barrel is dated 11/43. This very early gun looks as though it never went to war. The Parkerizing is outstanding, at least 98+%. Other than a slight rub mark or two it shows little or no use. The Circle P stamped walnut stock and handguard are beautifully matched and show no signs of use. The sling slot appears to be stamped MU. The handguard is the early two rivet type. The rear sight is also the early flip type as is the front barrel band, the early flat bolt, and the push button safety. The bore is mirror bright and razor sharp also showing almost no use. The gun comes with one Underwood stamped 10 round magazine. This very early gun is in gorgeous original condition, and promises to be a great shooter as well as a fine collectible........$1295.
