Blade front sight with bead and sporting type rear sight, with a tang mounted peep sight. Plain carbine style straight grip stock with steel carbine buttplate, 20 inch round barrel, walnut stock, .30-30, serial #303985. The carbine retains 99+% original blue finish with some very minor thinning at the muzzle. The lever retains 98% original case colors with the balance fading to a smooth silver-gray patina. The buttplate has a mixed blue with gray patina. The wood is original finish and is very good with some minor dings and scratches. Just behind the upper tang there is a fine crack, but it has been stabilized. This typical of this model and does not effect performance or overall appearance.
