Description:
As nice a Model 99H carbine I have seen. Blade front sight with bead and sporting type rear sight, with a tang mounted peep sight. Plain carbine style straight grip stock with steel carbine buttplate, 20 inch round barrel, walnut stock, .30-30, serial #303985. The carbine retains 99+% original blue finish with some very minor thinning at the muzzle. The lever retains 98% original case colors with the balance fading to a smooth silver-gray patina. The buttplate has a mixed blue with gray patina. The wood is original finish and is very good with some minor dings and scratches. Just behind the upper tang there is a fine crack, but it has been stabilized. This typical of this model and does not effect performance or
overall appearance. Mechanically excellent, bright shiny bore. Manufactured in 1927. Ship to your FFL. or C&R
