Colt Single Action Army Revolver - First Generation - Transition Model - Suitable for smokeless or black powder (serial numbers for transition models are from 165,000 to 182,000). The exterior metal is shiny and has no pitting or corrosion. The bore is bright and shiny with no pitting or corrosion. Barrel length is 4 ¾ inch. Barrel grooves and lands are strong and clean. The grips are Colt original black rubber. The revolver functions perfectly. Manufacture date is 1898. Includes Colt company letter.
