Description:
Serial #10326, 7.62 x 54R, 28 3/4” barrel with a very good bore that has some dark freckling within the grooves. This 1937 dated rifle has retained 75-80% of the original blue with silvering at the muzzle and gray fading on the receiver which has streaks of original blue still present. The mismatched bolt is finished armory bright, with some minor freckling throughout. The stock and handguard have been lightly sanded, and are in very good condition with numerous minor handling marks and surface blemishes throughout under the added military oil finish. The military cartouche was removed from the right side of the buttstock, and there are a few very minor chips along the cleaning rod channel. This is a very nice, non-import marked example of a pre-war Mosin-Nagant and should make a great shooter. FFL or C&R
