Description:
Serial #BR3071, 6.5mm Carcano, 21 1/2” barrel with a very good bore that has some dark freckling within the grooves. This is a 1941 production, Terni marked rifle in 6.5mm that has retained 95-97% of an armory re-applied blue finish with some silvering and gray fading at the muzzle as well as along the high and projecting edges. The bolt has an overall dull gray pewter patina with mottled freckling throughout and some pinprick pitting as well, mostly on the handle and bolt knob. The stock and handguard have been lightly sanded and refinished to fine shape with some scattered minor handling marks and surface blemishes throughout. This is a very good-fine example of a wartime Italian battle rifle, and would make a nice addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
