Description:
S# 177455B, 38 WCF, 24 inch barrel, antique good to very good bore with strong rifling and even light erosion. This rifle was built in 1885 and remains in very good condition with metal surfaces showing a grey patina with scattered areas of brown staining. Barrel shows light wrench marks and rear sight is a replacement. Wood is sound and fits quite well, it was refinished long ago with an attractive dark oil finish.
