* * * SOLD ON HOLD PENDING FUNDS / Hungarian Roth Steyr M.1907 Semi Auto Pistol, serial # 10095, cal. 8mm Steyr, with 5 1/4" barrel and very good bore, this double action pistol sets the striker with the first trigger pull and fires it with the second, pistol retains 85% blue that’s thinning on the barrel also has a few spots of very light pitting on right side of barrel housing near muzzle but nothing alarming. The grips grade good plus with a few very minor bruises, again nothing alarming. The rear of the frame is stamped with the 'W-n' military proof mark, applied at the Austrian government arsenal in Wiener-Neustadt, together with the Hapsburg eagle and number 12 signifying the date 1912. The top of the slide is stamped Fegyvergyár Budapest, these were produced between 1910-14 with only 34,100 pieces produced there, making this the rarer than the Austria Steyr 52,000. These pistols are becoming a bit scarce and this one is in overall good plus condition, will look great in a Military Collection. Inv.: # 1-1261
