Description:
Guns serial number puts it between 38 and 39 barrel date is 3/39. Also has NM stamped on barrel top right above forward band. Bolt is polished, and stamped NS on top of handle. Gun serial is electro penciled right below rear lug. Extractor has hole, bore is not star gauged on muzzle crown. Stock has serial number stamped into it on underside between front 2 bands and has the heavy checkered butt plate. Rear sight is a Lyman expertly fitted into stock. I believe the gun is also glass bedded. Bore is excellent. Gun overall is excellent! Not sure if this was a DCM sale, or NRA type, it is a very fine looking rifle.
