Description:
Murata Type 22- I believe this is the "First Model" Murata 22 because it has a different front (what I'm calling) barrel/magazine assembly. Plus the bolt handle is configured without the deep "U" where the handle meets the bolt. The serial numbers of the receiver, bolt, trigger housing and rear folding sight ALL match. The only issue with this rifle is that the bolt head/extractor is missing (see pictures). From what I can tell the barrel seems to be in good condition. (I'd like to say very good but everyone has a different definition of very good) If you need more pictures (I listed what I could) please contact me. I am NOT an expert in Japanese rifles. I bought a collection from an elderly Japanese mans estate.
