RARE-RARE-RARE- 1895 Springfield Carbine-Krag Jorgensen. One of only 7711 issued to Calvary Officers. "The Holy Grail of Krag Carbines per Springfield experts" Marked 1895 without the word model. Low serial number that falls within the Rough Riders serial number range. Very few in existence. Beautiful wood, lots of blue, excellent condition-mint for its age. "C" marked correct sight. Sight alone is worth $600 alone if you can find one. Cartouche is nice, reads 1897. Beautiful once in a lifetime carbine. # is 28XXX. $3,500 or best trade. Will ship for shipping/handling/insurance.
