Unaltered 2 1/2 inch chambers in 29 inch Nitro Proved Whitworth steel bbls and original chokes of cyl cyl / Skeet
Early and beautifully delicate rose and scroll engraved with classic oak leaf fences. Action has gone french gray with traces of case colour remaining in protected areas.
Beautiful french walnut stock full of honey and smoke finished with a checkered butt featuring heal and tow clips. The diamond shaped grip as pleasing in the hand as it is to the eye. Stocked for a right handed shooter, cast off 1/2 inch.
Measurements 14 3/8 from the front trigger to the center of the butt with 1 3/8 drop at comb and 1 7/8 at heal.
All the details you'd expect of a London Best, beautifully balanced and dynamic gun weighing 6 lbs 4.1 oz. No detail missed; articulated front trigger, gas relief ports on the breach balls and cocking indicators.
This gun was purchased from a close friend whom selected under the watchful and educated eye of Michael McIntosh while on a trip in the UK.
It's been my pride and joy for over a decade but my inability to shoot off my right side has unfairly relinquished it to non use.
