This is an exceptionally fine Winchester Model 69A that has a grooved receiver, which just makes it even better. These rifles are supposed to be unserialized, but this is marked 28583. I am told that they had to serialize them if they were intended for export or for use by the militaty. I don't know if that is the reason, but the number is there. I am also told that a Winchester book says there were only 600 made with the grooved receiver. Both metal and wood are excellent. Has the original rear sight with a beaded front blade. Comes with one original Winchester 5 shot magazine marked 69. Has the original black plastic butt plate. Gun must ship to an FFL dealer of your choice. Ships three days after funds clear. Pay by bank certified cashiers check or USPS money order. Ships in a hard case inside a cardboard outer container. Buyer responsible for all shipping and handling charges.
