Piotti shotguns are considered Italian "BEST" guns and are equal to any double guns made in the world. A full sidelock Holland style action, engraved by Italy's best, stocked to the fences, chopper lump barrels, finest engraving, hand built from in house, all combine to make the finest game or clays gun money can buy. When comparing Piotti to Purdey or Holland, there is little difference in quality, but a huge difference in price. Piotti is the finest gun for the best price in the world! Here we have a real treasure in this 1991 vintage matched pair, housed in a custom oak and leather case, in near new condition, ready for driven game with style. Go to William Larkin Moore's price list and you will see that the cost of ordering a pair identical to this new exceeds $99K, then add the $4000 case and cover and you exceed $100K in cost new. This pair, sn8931 and 8932 are a true matched pair, identical in every way, are near new save for a bit of blue wear near the forend areas, and can had at less than 1/2 the new price. Not only are they delightful in hand balanced dead on the hinge pin and weighing 6lbs. 7oz., but priced as such are an incredible pair of guns that are investment quality with built in equity from day one.
