Description:
This is a very attractive highly decorated Flintlock Pistol probably made in France in the 1840's. Lots of decorated brass. About 90% of the silver wire decorations around the grip remain. There is a full stock  all nicely carved. There are no splits or cracks. The barrel is 10& 1/4" long, and the overall length is 17". Approx. 65 caliber. The lock is marked: "MOAO" and "NONO". The action works although the springs are soft. The barrel has some discoloration but no rust. A very nice looking weapon.
