15-11 Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver
Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 8” Bbl. Ser #64002 Standard Markings, “Patented Sept14 1858/E Remington & Sons Ilion New York, USA/New Model” are clear and sharp, has military inspector’s markings on various parts. The bore is shiny and very good/fine with 75% of rifling, and some corrosion; cylinder chambers are clean. Action works well and locks up very tight when cocked, metal is clean with small light patches of corrosion on cylinder and frame. Walnut grips fit tightly, have a few dents, and one small chip at toe of right grip etc. Has a fair cartouche on left side. Overall a good original antique Civil War Era Rem. Army suitable for collector/shooter. (15-11)
