Description:
This is an as new unfired .222 Remington varmint rifle offered by the original owner. (From the dealer to me to you). It is a bolt action with a 3 shot detachable magazine (included). made in West Germany. A beautiful example of German craftsmanship. They were made from 1964 to 1967. All metal is a highly polished blue. The checkered stock is made of French Walnut with a Monte Carlo roll over cheek piece, a rosewood end and a diamond grip cap at the bottom of the pistol grip. The barrel is 24" long. There are sling swivels installed. The front sight is hooded. There is no rear sight. The rifle comes with a Tasco telescopic sight- 3x-9x 40C with lens covers. and scope mounts. The stock is finished in what appears to be a high gloss lacquer. There are some minor marks from storage on the stock near the barrel end. This rifle has been in a humidity controlled safe since being purchased. It is indeed a beauty.
