Piotti shotguns are considered Italian "BEST" guns and are equal to any double guns made in the world. Some say they even surpass a Purdey, though the same people have been called heretics as well! A full sidelock Holland style action, engraved by Italy's best, stocked to the fences, chopper lump barrels, action machined out of a solid billet of the best steel, all combine to make a fine game or clays gun. The "Monaco" is the very best quality side by side Piotti has to offer. This gun, sn9056 built in 1992 is AS NEW, and was ordered with 2 sets of barrels (28" & 30") both factory chambered at 3", with exhibition wood, and a factory case. Engraved by Giacomo Fausti, founder of Creative Art, makes this particular Monaco very special indeed. It is built heavy for heavy loads, also making it the ideal clays gun. The cost of ordering a new Monaco like this one would exceed $73,000 in today's market place. Finding a lightly used Monaco is a rare opportunity to own the finest Italian guns made, at a fraction of the cost...and without the long wait for a newly ordered gun. Remember, as the price of a new Piotti continues to rise, so will the cost of a like gun that has been previously owned. This is a great investment quality shotgun.
