EARLY COLT 22RF CAL. HIGH HAMMER OPEN-TOP DERINGER. 6 shot with 2 3/8th” barrel having the “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.”. All original and matching in the 8,xxx serial number range. Mellow brass frame and nice barrel and cylinder with some minor blue mixed with even patina. Walnut grips in fine condition. Missing mainspring but otherwise in good working order. Good bore. Early 1874 production date.
