15-27 FINE BRITISH FLINTLOCK BRASS BBL TRADE PISTOL
15-27 Fine British Flintlock Trade Pistol, c. 1770’s 9”, .67 cal. round steel barrel w/ (3) English proofs and a letter “K” marked “LONDON” with some light engraving at rear of bbl. Brass, including decorative escutcheon on wrist of stock, round buttcap, sideplate and trigger guard, Metal is very clean with little corrosion. Lock is marked “KETLAND & CO”, 15”overall length attractive blonde walnut stock. In good working order, locks up well. A very nice example probably made for trade, but that could have seen service during the American Revolutionary War. (15-27) $1,400.00
