A great shotgun from long ago this 16ga. looks like Iver Johnson CHAMPION single shot has a 32" barrel with a tight MOD choke,, and a very good, clean, shiny bore.This is the rare ring barrel release, in front of the trigger. The marking on the gun is IVER JOHNSON PAT. OCT 31, 05 and the registration is light, possibly refinished long ago and looks like the barrel is armory steel .Chambered for the 2 9/16" shell.Outside metal is a blue thinning, and fading.Has a front brass bead sight.Action locks up tight. Walnut Hardwood walnut stocks are good, with a few shallow field dings, and has the IVER JOHNSON SCRIPT black hard rubber butt-plate .LOP is 14 3/8.
