Collectors, A true rare firearm almost 50 years old NIB. This is an Italian-Beretta made Weatherby Mark XXll NIB, 2 mags, 5 and 10 round, owners manual, test target from March 16, 1965, a hang tag from Weatherby with Roy's signature and the original box. The bore is bright and shiny and I can't find a trace of where the gun has fired except by the target at the factory. It also has the multi leaf rear sight and brass bead front sight as well as a checkered metal buttplate. I called Weatherby to get more information on this firearm. Mr. Long told me that the serial number placed this gun as the 9,280th Weatherby Mark XXll that came out of the Italian-Beretta plant, They were made from 1964-1967 by Beretta,the stock is a Walnut- Rosewood-Mahogany, and to find one NIB all original was very rare. The only issue is the floor plate turning a grayish blue and the representative at Weatherby said that wasn't uncommon on the early models that he had seen due to the metal and bluing process, so it isn't an issue by them. There was only 100,00 of these made from 1964-1988. More pictures upon request.
