Description:
The .44 Colt was introduced about 1871 and used by the Army from then until 1873. It was used in the metallic cartridge conversion of the Colt 1860 percussion revolver. It could also be fired in the Remington Model 1875 .44 Army revolver. This is a two piece box with very nice labels and is sealed in plastic wrap for display in your collection of antique Winchester cartridges. Would also look good in a display with your conversion 1860 Army. It would be very hard to find a nicer condition box that has survived all of these years!
