Description:
A very nice example of the Model 1842 US Musket made at Harper's Ferry. This specimen being complete and totally original. Photos show condition - metal a nice patina, wood original with usual dings, etc. due to age but no cracks and nice and solid. Trigger guard extension bears a large WW which could very well be who the musket was originally issued to - it would be worth further investigation.
