Description:
An exceptional 5th model Burnside Civil War carbine, .54 caliber. Gun reatins a good 90% original blue and about 94% original case colors. The wood is exceptional with no dings or scratches. SN 31xxx. These saw much action and were liked by the men whop had them. The bore is fine, but might use a light cleaning. Action is tight and crisp. No cartouche but subinspectors initials on all major parts. One of the best Burnsides I have seen.REDUCED!!!
