WW II German 98k Bayonet with Frog. serial # 2956 n / code 4ASW, scabbard # 8788 d / 43 agv as you can see here the bayonet and scabbard are mismatched, the bayonet Frog on the rear between the rivets show a very faint illegible marking. The bayonet has wooden grips with dings, bruises that are usually found on fielded bayonets. Release button works, bayonet shows finish wear. Overall condition as described is good – good plus. Inv.: # G 575
