Description:
A large framed print in a cut oak frame 35 X 47 inches. This is the famous print of the original painting by Caton Woodville. The actual print size is 36 X 24. tThe frame, glass and actual print are in excellent condition less some dirt or smoking extending from the top in the indented areas of the print. This should be cleanable. There is some water staining on the borders but not extending into the body of the print. This can be easily covered by new matting. This piece was printed in 1895. The expressions on both the faces of the men and the horses tell the whole story of the most famous of charges "into the mouth of Hell rode the six hundred".
